I will rest in the assurance of my GOD!

My hope is in God. My faith is in God. I completely trust what He is all about. But, while being attacked—physically, mentally, and spiritually—I sometimes lose focus on God. I tend to lose focus on all of the promises He has made. When it gets to this point, I have to regroup my thoughts and regain my strength once again, which can be difficult.

I’ve come to realize that it’s not always the enemy trying to keep me down; but myself (my mind, or the way that I think).

The Word of God says: Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will (Romans 12:2).

I must stop thinking as the world, and put on the mind of Christ. I need to put the things that I’m dealing with in His hand, and let Him deal with it.

I’m not strong enough, but He is!

I need to rest and hope in GOD. The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still (Exodus 14:14).

So my battle has been fought and I have victory! All I did was just rest and believe.
